The Aberdare branch of the Royal Air Forces Association moved into the existing premises in June 1952 and celebrated its 50th Anniversary in June 2002.
The Branch/Club has recently undergone a major refurbishment mainly to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act, none of which could have been possible without the assistance of the Cardiff, Newport and, sadly, the now disbanded Pembroke Dock Branches.
The Aberdare Branch/Club has a membership of approximately 250, of these there are sum 35 who are either serving or ex RAF personnel, 5 are Full Associate Members with the remainder being associate members. |

The committee hold their meetings on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 1900 hrs
OPENING HOURS
Monday - Thursday 18:30 until 24:00 Friday and Saturday 18:30 until 01:00 Sunday 12:00 until 14:30 19:00 until 24:00
The club offers a good selection of Wines, Beers, Lager and Spirits plus the usual soft drinks and bar snacks
MEMBERSHIP
The membership books will open on the 1st October for payment of annual contributions, and will remain open for a period of one calendar month. new members are always welcome.
The cost of annual membership at the present time is:
Ex Royal Air Force £17.00 Full Associate £7.50 Associate £3.50
